FAQ

Frequently asked questions

About the Vibe Mind product, getting connected, accounts and data security.

I switched to a new machine. Is my project knowledge still there?

Yes. Connect the same account and the agent reads the same memory.

What if a teammate takes over the project?

Share the project with them — they and their agent can read everything learned so far.

Product

My agent already has memory. Why do I need Vibe Mind?

An agent's memory lives on one machine and doesn't travel. Vibe Mind keeps it in the cloud, so whatever you connect knows you.

What's the difference between Brain, project memory and work notes?

Your Brain remembers you; project memory remembers each project's experience — both written by agents and read at session start. Work notes are summaries and progress written for you.

Who is it for?

Developers and teams who code with AI agents.

Getting connected

Which agents are supported?

Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other popular coding agents that support MCP.

How do I connect?

Send your agent "Follow https://vibe-mind.iguos.com/install.md?lang=en to connect Vibe Mind" and it sets itself up. See the setup guide for details.

Can I use one account on several machines and agents?

Yes. Authorize once per computer and they all share the same memory.

Accounts and pricing

How much does it cost?

Vibe Mind is free to use. Sign up and get started.

What do I need to sign up?

Just an email address.

Can I edit memory directly?

Agents distill memory from your day-to-day work. You can view, flag and delete it; to change something, tell an agent. Work notes you can write yourself.

Where does my Brain's content come from?

Once you turn it on in the console, agents learn it while working with you — preferences you've stated, things you've corrected. When you first connect, they also bring in the memory already on your computer.

Can other people see my habits?

No. Your Brain is visible only to you and can't be shared.

Data and security

Will memories from different projects get mixed up?

No. Memory is isolated by project, and access can be limited to specific projects.

Is my data secure?

HTTPS everywhere, tokens stored only as hashes, and sharing you can revoke anytime. See Security & Privacy.

How do I export or delete my data?

Export by project under Settings · Data. Account deletion is there too: once requested the account is frozen, you can cancel by signing in within 7 days, and after that all data is permanently erased.
